LPGA star Nelly Korda announces engagement in Black Friday Instagram post

Nelly Korda had some big news to share on Black Friday: She's engaged.

Korda made the announcement Friday morning to her 1.2 million followers on Instagram. The post included a series of photos of Korda and her new fiancé, Casey Gunderson, celebrating on the beach.

Korda, 27, is a 15-time LPGA winner and two-time major champion. She just rounded out her ninth season on the LPGA with a solo third-place finish at the CME Group Tour Championship last week.

Korda won seven times in 2024 but didn't find such success in 2025, going winless and losing her spot as the World No. 1 to Jeeno Thitikul. Still, even in a "down year," Korda managed to finish top-five on both the LPGA money list and the season-long points standings.
