The Los Angeles Rams' Week 13 match with the Carolina Panthers just got a little bit easier.
Panthers head coach Dave Canales officially ruled out starting cornerback Jaycee Horn for the game, as well as a few others. Horn sustained a concussion in Week 12 and didn't return after initially leaving that game, a loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Horn is a huge part of the Panthers' defense, and not having to face him is a big win for Matthew Stafford and the Rams. Horn has an NFL-leading five interceptions this season, including two on 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy in Week 12, and has allowed just 22 receptions on 50 targets this year.

Without him, Carolina could have a tough time defending Stafford and the Rams' high-octane passing attack. They'll also be without starting safety Tre'Von Moehrig, who was suspended for a punch he threw in Week 12.
This should help open up a lot of chances for Puka Nacua and Davante Adams all over the field as the Rams look to build on their six-game win streak and keep their spot atop the NFC West and entire NFC.
