Borussia Mönchengladbach look to continue their remarkable turnaround in form as they host RB Leipzig this evening. Die Fohlen were in the relegation zone not long ago, but wins against those around them at the bottom of the table has helped them climb the table quickly. They will face a stern test against second-placed RB Leipzig tonight, though.

The standout fixture over the rest of the weekend is clearly Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Dortmund, but we will leave that for the match coverage. Otherwise, I’d have to say it’s Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg, purely because any game with Frankfurt in promises goals.

Here is this weekend’s Bundesliga schedule:

Friday:

  • Borussia Mönchengladbach vs RB Leipzig

Saturday:

  • Bayern Munich vs St. Pauli

  • Hoffenheim vs Augsburg

  • Union Berlin vs Heidenheim

  • Werder Bremen vs FC Köln

  • Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Dortmund

Sunday:

  • Hamburger SV vs VfB Stuttgart

  • Eintracht Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg

  • Freiburg vs Mainz

The same rules apply as the BVB match threads, though I’m hoping tempers are less likely to flare in these threads. But as a reminder, here are the match thread rules:

  1. Exercise common sense. We allow profanity, adult humor, and other forms of crudeness within reason, but of course there are lines. Hateful language will not be tolerated. Exceptionally violent language (especially directed at specific people) will not be tolerated. Before you type, ask yourself, “Would I have a reasonable expectation of being thrown out of a bar in an average city if I said something like this?”

  2. Be respectful. There will definitely be times when everyone is upset and disagreements get heated, and that’s fine, but remember that we’re all rooting for the same team. Keep arguments based on substance and not personal insults.

  3. No sharing illegal streams. NONE. Zero tolerance.

  4. No spam. I have no interest in whatever crypto scheme you’re shilling. You will be banned.

Enjoy the game! Heja BVB!
