As expected, Indianapolis Colts' quarterback Daniel Jones will be a full-go for Sunday's Week 13 matchup with the Houston Texans, said head coach Shane Steichen.

Jones is dealing with a fibula injury. He first appeared on the injury report last Thursday before the Kansas City game.

This week, he was listed as limited on Wednesday and was then a full participant for the final two days.

The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport recently reported that the specific injury that Jones has is a fracture in his fibula.

Steichen was asked on Friday if that was the case, but would not confirm the report.

"Talking to our trainers and our doctors and Daniel himself, we would never put him out there if we thought something could go wrong there," Steichen said. "Our trainers and doctors have cleared him to play. He's good to go. He wants to play and we're excited for the opportunity come Sunday."

When it comes to the Colts' game plan this week or how Steichen might call the game, Jones' injury won't impact any of that.

"It's something we'll manage," Steichen said of the injury. "But again, we're not going to limit anything we do offensively from a game plan standpoint. What he feels comfortable with out there, we're ready to go and he's ready to go."

Steichen does believe that this injury could improve as the season progresses.

Riley Leonard will remain the Colts' backup quarterback. Steichen said there isn't any plan to elevate Brett Rypien from the practice squad as insurance at the position.
