Tampa Bay Buccaneers injury report: QB Baker Mayfield likely to play

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished their practice week Friday in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals and appear set to have quarterback Baker Mayfield under center after he suffered an injury to his left shoulder in last Sunday’s loss to the Rams. They released their final injury report of the week.

Asked if he has made a decision on Mayfield, head coach Todd Bowles said, "We have. He looked good today so he's trending to play."

Noting the improvement Mayfield made in practice this week, Bowles said, "He had to get well. He was very limited on Wednesday (in a walkthrough), he did a little more yesterday and he moved around perfectly today, so he's fine."

Another status oddity is running back Bucky Irving practicing in full each day this week, but being listed as questionable.
