It's Axe Week — the runup to the rivalry football game between the Wisconsin Badgers and the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday, Nov. 29 in Minneapolis.
The winner gets Paul Bunyan's Axe, the trophy in the most-played college football rivalry in NCAA Division I.

The game could be a close one. BetMGM has 4-7 Wisconsin as a 1.5-point favorite over 6-5 Minnesota and ESPN Analytics' Matchup Predictor gives the Badgers a 51.2% chance to win.
Another tradition of Axe Week is a little good-natured trash-talking and meme-hurling between the mascots — Bucky Badger and Goldy the Gopher.
