It's Axe Week — the runup to the rivalry football game between the Wisconsin Badgers and the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday, Nov. 29 in Minneapolis.

The winner gets Paul Bunyan's Axe, the trophy in the most-played college football rivalry in NCAA Division I.

The series between the teams is tied — 63-63-8 — though Wisconsin holds a 46-27-3 lead since the Axe arrived in 1948.

The game could be a close one. BetMGM has 4-7 Wisconsin as a 1.5-point favorite over 6-5 Minnesota and ESPN Analytics' Matchup Predictor gives the Badgers a 51.2% chance to win.
