SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Benedictine Military School, Calvary Day, Toombs County and Hampton County all advanced in the football playoffs with wins Friday.
Benedictine won in dominant fashion 80-36, thanks to an explosive offensive performance. Quarterback Steven Cannon had a big impact on the running game with several rushing touchdowns.

Calvary Day head coach James Cameron said it’s on to the next game.
“We’re happy that we’re in the final four but we’re not done yet,” said Cameron. “It’s a two-game season now.”
Toombs County, the defending state champions in Class A Division I, beat Northeast 24-6 to become one step closer to winning back-to-back state titles.
Hampton County advanced to the school’s first-ever state title game with a 43-22 win over Central. Star running back Jaylen Singletary provided much of the team’s offense with five touchdowns on the night.
