Juventus expert Gianni Balzarini suggests that the Bianconeri ‘would consider’ signing Marco Verratti in January, but the Italian midfielder would need to take a huge pay cut to move to Turin.
Juventus would be interested in signing ex-PSG star Verratti in the winter transfer window if the Italian midfielder decided to leave his club, Al Duhail, reports Juventus expert Gianni Balzarini.

“Juventus need a midfielder for a transition period,” the Italian reporter told Rabio Bianconera via TMW.
“In January, Juventus will not sign a Regista for the long-term future. The former PSG midfielder would need to give up his annual €30m salary to join Juventus, but the Bianconeri are his favourite club, and he’d play in Serie A for the first time. If I were him, I’d think about it. If he were open to the idea, perhaps Juventus would consider him.”

Verratti has never played in Serie A, given that he signed for PSG in the summer of 2012 after contributing to Pescara’s promotion from Serie B in the previous campaign.
Juventus are expected to sign a new deep-lying playmaker in the January transfer window and the likes of Emile Hojbjerg and Adrian Bernabé have also been linked with a move to the Allianz Stadium.
