In Columbus this time of year, the letter 'M' gets crossed out. It's That Team Up North, not Michigan.
And hey, Brutus had an opportunity. Snow was falling in a thin coat across the field.
Brutus used the elements to his advantage. He put a nice big 'X' through the 'M.'

That's just funny and a little bit savage.
If some Michigan folks notice that, they may go remedy it.
But at least for a bit, the Buckeyes had brought a big 'X' with them to Ann Arbor, and it was showing up both in their performance on the field and in the Brutus behavior in the end zone.
