The SEC Championship game matchup is set.
Georgia football gets another shot at Alabama on Saturday Dec. 6 in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Kickoff is at 4 p.m on ABC.
No. 10 Alabama (10-2) secured its spot by beating rival Auburn 27-20 Saturday night on the Plains.

The Crimson Tide dealt the Bulldogs (11-1) their only loss this season, 24-21, on Sept. 27 in Athens.
The No. 4 Bulldogs have won eight straight since then and clinched a fifth straight trip to the SEC title game when Texas beat Texas A&M Friday night. Alabama and Georgia won tiebreakers with Ole Miss and Texas A&M after all finished 7-1 in the SEC.
Kirby Smart has faced Alabama three times previously in the SEC Championship game, losing in 2018, 2021 and 2023. Georgia also lost to Alabama in the 2012 game when Smart was Alabama's defensive coordinator.

Smart is seeking his fourth SEC Championship in his eighth appearance.
Georgia would assure a first-round playoff bye with a win, but would still get a bye if it remains in the top four if it lost.
Georgia will make its 13th SEC Championship game appearance. Alabama leads all schools with 16.
The Crimson Tide has won its last nine times it has played in the game.
