MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins cornerback Rasul Douglas is set to make his return from a foot and ankle injury in Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
Douglas was not listed among inactive players announced 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAlso officially active were tight end Darren Waller and right tackle Austin Jackson, who were activated off injured reserve Saturday ahead of Sunday’s game. Dolphins defensive tackle Benito Jones, who entered Sunday questionable with an ankle injury, is also set to play.
For the Saints, standout wide receiver Chris Olave (back) is active.
Either Douglas or fellow starting boundary cornerback Jack Jones will get the assignment of covering Olave. Douglas missed two games with his lower-leg ailment and had the bye week for additional recovery.
Waller is back after missing four games on injured reserve with a pectoral injury.
