The Texas Tech football team moved up a bit in the final rankings of the regular season.
The Red Raiders (11-1, 8-1) dismantled West Virginia 49-0 and will now turn their attention to a rematch with BYU in the Big 12 Conference Championship Game this Saturday in AT&T Stadium. They'll do so as the No. 6 team in the country, according to the US LBM Coaches Poll, released Sunday, Nov. 30.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementTexas Tech moved up one spot thanks to Texas A&M's loss to Texas. The Aggies dropped to 7th in the nation with Ohio State, Indiana, Georgia, Oregon and Ole Miss being ranked ahead of the Red Raiders.
BYU remains ranked No. 11 in the Coaches poll while Utah dropped another spot despite the win over Kansas. Arizona rounds things out for the Big 12 by being ranked 22nd.
