Cleveland Browns starting center Ethan Pocic exited the game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Pocic suffered a leg injury on the Browns’ failed fourth-down attempt. Pocic limped to the medical tent for initial diagnosis. He was seen shortly after heading to the locker room. Pocic has been the starter for the Browns over the past three years. The Browns’ quarterback corps has learned to rely on the veteran. The Browns have ruled Pocic questionable to return with a leg injury.

Wypler is entering his third season with the Browns. He has seen extra playing time this year, as he’s played as an extra lineman in the Browns’ short-yardage packages. The Browns have been training Wypler to take over at center for a few seasons. He’ll get an opportunity against a rugged 49ers pass rush. The Browns need to bolster the middle of their offensive line. The team is swapping drives between Wyatt Teller and Teven Jenkins. Wypler should help them.
