England manager Thomas Tuchel spotted speaking with Everton duo James Garner and Jack Grealish last night

Everton secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford last night to pick up much-needed three points. Everton had to play much of the game with ten men after Idrissa Gueye was sent off for slapping

Michael Keane 13 minutes into the game. The Hill Dickinson Stadium club did well, and Toffees manager David Moyes will be delighted after his first win at Old Trafford as a visiting manager in 18 attempts. It was also Everton’s second victory at the ground of their rivals in 33 years.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s 29th-minute strike was enough to hand the visitors the win, and England manager Thomas Tuchel was in the stadium to watch the game. The German was spotted speaking with James Garner and Jack Grealish after the game, and the Everton stars will be hoping they did enough to impress the Three Lions boss.

Garner provided the assist and was impressive in the middle of the park, having to step up his game after Gueye was red-carded. Grealish was unable to attack as he would have loved given the man advantage to the hosts, but he still managed to put in an impressive game.

The attacker has not played for England since last year and will be desperate to make the squad for the 2026 World Cup.

Grealish joined the Toffees on loan from Manchester City in the summer and started his spell on Merseyside with four assists in his opening three league appearances.
