Few Marvel villains inspire the same mix of terror and awe as Galactus, which is why his MCU debut in Fantastic Four: First Steps was so remarkable. That movie ended with Galactus being teleported far away from the Fantastic Four, setting up his eventual return in a future project.
While First Steps leads viewers to believe he may try to capture young Franklin Richards once again, Marvel Comics provides a much different target for the World Eater.
In the comics, Galactus is often associated with another cosmic entity, Death. Given that both characters are now canon to the MCU, it's possible their relationship could be fleshed out.
Galactus and Death Have a Complicated Relationship in Marvel Comics

Though Death is most famously associated with Thanos in Marvel Comics, she has also dealt with Galactus on more than a few occasions.
Galactus has ended untold numbers of lives, giving him a natural kinship with Marvel's personification of death. When Galactus has expressed remorse for his actions, Death reassured him that his role is entirely necessary.
Despite this, Galactus and Death are not always in lockstep. Galactus has stated on a few occasions that he views himself as a being above death, which obviously makes the concept's avatar unhappy.
Given their complex history, fans might wonder if there could be a potential for future conflict in the MCU.
How Galactus and Death Could Interact In the MCU

While many Marvel fans might be aware of Galactus' debut in the MCU, some might have missed Aubrey Plaza's version of Death in Agatha All Along.
This version of the character is relatively new, so little is known about her, but what is known is that she, alongside Eternity, Infinity, and Entropy, created the Infinity Stones.
All of this adds up to Galactus and Death ranking among the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most powerful characters.
Given their long and storied history in the comics and their relative power, it would make sense for the MCU to tie Galactus and Death together in some capacity.
Given Galactus' weariness present in Fantastic Four: First Steps, it's possible the World Eater could seek out Death to finally end his hunger.
Of course, just because two comic characters are connected doesn't mean they'll have the same relationship in the MCU. Death is most famously linked with Thanos, but it's unclear if the two characters share any connection at all in the movie universe.
Regardless, Galactus facing off against Death would be a true sight to behold and would require little justification. Fantastic Four: First Steps could be the setup for a battle of truly cosmic proportions.
