Man United vs. West Ham match details
Manchester United host West Ham at Old Trafford on Thursday hoping to build on their victory at Crystal Palace at the weekend.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAfter surrendering their five-match unbeaten streak with a 1-0 home defeat to 10-man Everton, the Red Devils responded by fighting back from a goal down to defeat Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park. The win moved United to within three points of the top four and ended the Eagles' nine-month stretch without a league loss at home.
West Ham had enjoyed a good start to life under Nuno Espirito Santo, but they were beaten 2-0 at home by champions Liverpool in their last outing. Only goal difference is keeping them out of the relegation zone.
That loss was compounded by a late red card for Lucas Paqueta, who must now serve a suspension and miss the visit to the north west.

Man United team news
United's injury picture is largely unchanged from the Palace game, although it is hoped that Matheus Cunha will return. The Brazilian has missed the last two games after taking a blow to the head in training.
Lisandro Martinez made his long-awaited return from a long-term knee injury, coming off the bench in the win at Palace. It feels much too early for him to complete a full game, so he will most likely be a substitute again.
The back three will likely look the same given Harry Maguire's thigh injury. Diogo Dalot and Mason Mount could keep their places after returning to the XI at Selhurst Park, while Joshua Zirkzee may lead the line once more after ending his wait of almost exactly a year for a Premier League goal.

Man United injury list
Below is the latest injury picture for Man United, and estimated return dates for those who are sidelined.
Matheus Cunha
Injury: Knock
Expected return date: December 4
Cunha reportedly sustained a knock in training, which meant he could not attend a publicity event in Greater Manchester. He missed the Everton and Palace games, but Amorim hopes he will be ready for West Ham.
Harry Maguire
Injury: Thigh
Expected return date: Early December
Maguire was forced off with a muscle issue in the draw at Spurs, but as he was not in the England squad this month, he had nearly two weeks to work on his recovery. Still, the centre-back is not expected back until early December, and even the West Ham game could be too early..

Injury: Knee
Expected return date: December 15
Sesko suffered a knee problem against Spurs, but it was not as bad as Amorim had feared. The striker is expected to be out for around a month, so his return could come against Bournemouth at Old Trafford in mid-December.
