And now we wait.
First, we’ll be waiting to see where the Lions go bowling. With their win they secured bowl eligibility, and I have no reason to think the administration would turn down an opportunity to go to a bowl game. Be it New York or Detroit or somewhere not yet mentioned, we’ll wait to see where the Lions go for their bowl game and who they’ll end up playing.

As other teams’ seasons have finished up, many coaching vacancies around the country have been filled. Penn State has yet to name a new head coach, though it seems like things are starting to wind down. Partially due to the fact that the season is over, early signing day is this week, and if Penn State doesn’t hire SOMEbody, they’re going to be left out in the cold.
But also partially because there’s been a lot of chatter in the last couple days, with some final interviews being conducted.
In any case, unlike last year, Penn State does not have a Big Ten Championship Game to prepare for, nor the College Football Playoffs to get ready for.
So, we wait.
