Former Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell is now reportedly going to be the University of Florida's general manager of football operations.
This move comes on the heels of the Gators hiring Jon Sumrall to be the team's new head coach after two seasons at Tulane.

"The program believes Caldwell’s understanding of cap management and new-aged scouting will translate well to the new college landscape," said ESPN's Jeff Darlington of the hire.
Caldwell was the Jaguars' general manager from 2013-2020. During that span, the Jaguars had a 37-91 record, but nearly made the Super Bowl during the 2017 season.
That was the Jaguars' lone playoff appearance under Caldwell.
