Once the pasta-loving darling of New York, Tommy DeVito is ready to flip the script on his former team.

The New Jersey native, claimed off waivers by the New England Patriots after a whirlwind stint with the Big Blue, is fired up for Monday's clash against the Giants -- even if he's suited up on the sidelines as third-string QB behind Drake Maye and Joshua Dobbs.

"I loved my time there," DeVito told MassLive.com. "When I was there, it was 'Go Giants,' but now it's 'Go Pats' all the way. I hope we blow them out."

DeVito's Giants tenure was a fairy tale turned footnote: From undrafted tryout to 3-5 starter with eight touchdowns and a chicken cutlet sandwich frenzy. But preseason fireworks against New England sealed his fate, paving the way for Jaxson Dart, Jameis Winston, and Russell Wilson in Gotham.

Now, the 27-year-old vows to spill secrets.

"I can help player breakdowns and give my two cents here and there. I'll help in any way I can," he said.

Giants interim coach Mike Kafka still sings his praises.

"DeVito, in my opinion, is a starter in this league," Kafka said. "Always brought energy. A guy that I’m proud of for where he began -- as a tryout-type guy -- and stepping up and learning to be a pro. When he got his opportunity, he took advantage of it. Won some big games for us."

"When you have Tommy DeVito in your room, you get a little extra swag. Instant street cred," Giants backup quarterback Jameis Winston said.

With Giants stars like Dexter Lawrence cleared to play but Kayvon Thibodeaux sidelined, DeVito's intel could tip the scales. Loyalty? In the NFL, it's all about the W -- and a little revenge pasta on the side.
