Dec. 1—BOULDER — Montana State women edged out Colorado 71-70 in a tightly contested matchup that was led by Taylee Chirrick's 21 points and 7-7 shooting at the line on Sunday in Boulder.
The Bobcats trailed 34-43 at the half but outscored the Buffaloes 22-11 in the final period.
Colorado shot 49% from the field compared to Montana State's 41%. Jade Masogayo led Colorado with 16 points and Desiree Wooten added 14 off the bench.
