The regular season is over and the final weekend did not disappoint. There were some championship level performances from unexpected players. With that being said, let’s take a look at the top performers from week 14.
Offensive Player of the WeekMax Cutforth (Boise State)
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Bronco coaching staff opened up the playbook for the sophomore backup quarterback, and it paid off in a big way, as Boise State was able to pull off the comeback and defeat Utah State 25-24. Cutforth completed 26 of 49 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns. The win helped the Broncos secure a spot in the Mountain West Championship game.
Defensive Player of the WeekSimeon Harris (Fresno State)
The junior cornerback had a huge game in Fresno State’s 41-14 victory over in-state rival San Jose State. Harris had two interceptions and a tackle for loss in the Bulldogs’ dominating win.
Special Teams Player of the WeekDylan Lynch (Fresno State)

Newcomer of the WeekJackson Harris (Hawaii)
The sophomore transfer from Stanford continued his huge season for the Rainbow Warriors. Harris had a huge game with four catches for 153 yards and a touchdown in Hawaii’s 27-7 win over Wyoming.
Freshman of the WeekMicah Alejado (Hawaii)
Alejado had a nice bounce back performance after a rough showing against UNLV the week prior. Alejado completed 17 of 24 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns in Hawaii’s win over Wyoming.
