Our Movember charity stream has been running all month to support the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center. As of this publication, we have already raised over $13,000 for both cancer research and treatment for cancer survivors.
And while it may not technically still be November, our biggest event for the charity drive is still yet to come.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementOn Saturday, December 6 — from 8 a.m. ET to midnight — we will be holding our annual marathon charity stream. For 16 straight hours, we’ll be discussing Detroit Lions football, doing live giveaways, talking to very special guests, and raising money for the Rogel Cancer Center. All the while, there will be shenanigans you can cause to happen on stream, including:
Changing my virtual background ($100 donation)
Causing a host to do a celebrity impression ($250)
Get host to write something on their face ($25)
Get host to smash an egg on their head ($400)
Additionally, you can earn prizes with your donations. A $100 donation gets you a subscription to Pride of Detroit Direct. A $500 donation gets you a Pride of Detroit Movember hoodie.
Full details on what you can earn with your donations are here.
On top of that, we will be running live giveaways throughout the entire day to our live audience. No donations are necessary to enter. Here’s just some of the things we’ll be giving away:

And to entertain you throughout the day, we’ll have a rotating line of guests, including your favorite people from Pride of Detroit. This year’s guest list has not been finalized yet (I’ll try to get you that by Friday), but previous year’s guests include:
