Controversial Michigan football figure praises MSU for new coach hire

One of the more controversial figures in recent college football history has given Michigan State football a great review on their reported replacement for Jonathan Smith. On Sunday, it was reported that the Spartans will turn to former Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald to take over their football program after a disappointing two-year run by Smith and his staff.

On Monday morning, Stalions, who is a known Michigan fan and former staffer, said that he 'unfortunately' thinks that the Spartans have made the 'best hire' of this coaching hire for bringing in Fitzgerald. Stalions noted that Fitzgerald is the only head coach available this cycle who has 'done more' with 'significantly less'.
