MANHATTAN — Kansas State football is going bowling, and now it will wait to see when and where it will play its postseason game.
The Wildcats (6-6, 5-4 Big 12) earned bowl eligibility with their 24-14 win over Colorado on Nov. 29. Their sixth win of the season clinched their fifth consecutive bowl appearance. They won four of their last six games to make it possible.

Kyle Bonagura projects that the Wildcats will play against East Carolina in the Armed Forces Bowl on Jan. 2 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Mark Shlabach projects that the Wildcats will play against Texas State in the First Responder Bowl on Dec. 26 in Dallas.
On3: Rate Bowl
Brett McMurphy projects that the Wildcats will play against Minnesota in the Rate Bowl on Dec. 26 in Phoenix.
CBS Sports: Armed Forces Bowl
CBS Sports projects that Kansas State will play against Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl.
