Arizona Cardinals open as big home underdogs ahead of matchup with Rams

This could be a bad one.

The Arizona Cardinals are coming off another loss, this one their fourth straight after losing five straight earlier in the year.

And now, they get a pissed off Los Angeles Rams team who just blew a game against the Carolina Panthers after the Rams had looked unbeatable in their six game win streak.

That explains why the Rams are massive road favorites, as the Cardinals are 7.5-point underdogs at home according to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Rams before their loss to the Panthers were riding a six game win streak, with their losses to the Niners in overtime on Thursday Night Football and an early season loss to the Eagles.

During their win streak they averaged 30.5 points per game, and even in their loss the offense put up 28 points.

Now, can the Cardinals do enough to slow down the Rams offense, and on the flipside, can they score on the Rams defense that was embarrassed yesterday by the Panthers and Bryce Young?

In that six game win streak, the Rams were giving up 12 points per game. Of course, maybe this will be a reverse of yesterday, where the Cardinals went into the game against a Bucs team that had been giving up 33.5 points per game and the Cardinals could only muster 17 points.

Maybe this week against a Rams defense that had been hot, they’ll be able to put up points.
