The passing game was out of sync, as quarterback Aaron Rodgers went 10-of-21 for 117 yards in the defeat. Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph went 0-of-3 passing with an interception when he briefly entered the game for Rodgers in the third quarter.
In addition to the passing game being bleak, the Steelers rushed 18 times for just 58 yards.

Pittsburgh entered the season knowing they needed someone to step up to fill the WR2 and WR3 role to complement DK Metcalf. Thus far, no one has even come close to replacing George Pickens, who is having a spectacular season with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Steelers did not pick up wide receiver help at the trade deadline, but a veteran option is available for the team to sign as they try to make a playoff push.
Per a statement by Minnesota Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, the team is releasing Adam Thielen at the receivers' request.
Via the Vikings:
"Last week Adam's representation approached the team and asked if we would be willing to release Adam, expressing his desire to play a bigger role in the remaining weeks of what he has indicated will be his final NFL season.
"Following discussions through the weekend and out of respect for Adam, we have agreed to give him the opportunity to pursue more playing time elsewhere. Adam is one of the all-time great Vikings, and we wish him and his family continued success."

Thielen had no receptions in the Vikings' 26-0 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. He has eight receptions on 18 targets for 69 yards through 11 games played this season.
The All-Pro wants to play for a team that has a chance to make the playoffs. Pittsburgh is tied with the Baltimore Ravens for first place in the AFC North, and Thielen could be a contributor on an offense led by a four-time NFL MVP quarterback.
