BYU has now been in the No. 9 spot for three consecutive weeks.

It’s the fifth consecutive top-10 poll for the Cougars this season, having began the year at No. 8 in the preseason rankings.

The Cougars are joined by five other Big 12 squads in this week’s poll — No. 2 Arizona, No. 8 Houston, No. 10 Iowa State, No. 19 Texas Tech and No. 21 Kansas.

Additionally, the first NET rankings of the year were released on Monday, with BYU coming in at No. 13, Utah State at No. 22, Utah Valley at No. 72 and Utah at No. 175.

The Cougars will host Cal Baptist Wednesday evening at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City in search of their seventh win of the season.
