Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur said there's a chance his team could return both Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden from injuries for Sunday's showdown with the Chicago Bears, possibly providing a big boost to the wide receiver position.
Reed was designated for return from injured reserve on Friday, Nov. 21, and he'll get the full week of practice to prepare for Sunday. But LaFleur said Reed, who had surgery on his foot and collarbone, needs to be medically cleared to play first.

LaFleur has previously said Reed's foot is healed, and the team is waiting on the collarbone to be game-ready. It's possible Reed will have one more scan of the bone at some point this week to make sure it's healed enough to play in a full contact game.
Reed, the team's leader in receiving yards in both 2023 and 2024, caught three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown before going down with the collarbone injury in the first quarter of Week 2.
Golden, the Packers' first-round pick, injured his wrist against the New York Giants in Week 11 and has missed the last two weeks.

Over nine games, Golden has 26 catches for 286 yards. He caught three passes for 86 yards in October against the Bengals, and he had an explosive play (24-yard catch) and drew a pass interference penalty before suffering the wrist injury in New York in mid-November.
LaFleur said Golden has been an "explosive playmaker" for the Packers but he must fight through the injury adversity now.
"I think his ability to be tough minded, mentally and physically tough, will allow him to overcome any challenges or adversity he will face," LaFleur said.

Christian Watson has three touchdown catches in his last three games, Dontayvion Wicks had 100 total yards and two scores last week in Detroit, and Romeo Doubs remains a favorite target of Jordan Love.
LaFleur admitted it's a challenge to "feed everybody" and "get the touches they deserve," but he'd rather have too many at receiver than not enough.
"When you have a ton of guys in that room that you have a lot of confidence in, you'd rather have that than not have enough guys to go out there and get the job done," LaFleur said.
The Packers will put out the first injury report of Week 14 on Wednesday. The final injury report arrives Friday afternoon.
