COLUMBIA CITY — Logansport and Caston competed at the Columbia City 2-day girls wrestling tournament over the weekend with some of the top programs of northern Indiana.

There were a total of 54 teams that competed at the event. Logansport placed 10th with 107.5 points. Caston placed 40th with 24 points.

Logansport’s Aleyah Kinder placed second in the 105-pound weight class and scored 28 points for the Berries. Olivia Gibson placed third at 130 and scored 27.5 points.

Other point scorers for the Berries included Ariana Roland at 115 (10 points), Erin Williams at 125 (10), Jasmine Perez at 135 (10), Ellora Montgomery at 155 (9), Aubriana DeWeese at 120 (6), Arleth Ruiz at 235 (6) at Roselyn Gonzalez at 100 (1).

Breanna James placed seventh at 155 and scored 17 points to lead Caston. Piper Roudebush scored 7 points at 140.
