The Wisconsin Badgers have secured a commitment from 2026 thee-star wide receiver Keeyshawn Tabeteau, flipping him from the Vanderbilt Commodores, he announced on Wednesday.

Tabeteau had been committed to Vanderbilt since June. The Badgers were in need of another wide receiver in the class after losing four-star Jayden Petit to the Oklahoma Sooners last weekend.

By flipping Tabeteau, a native of Tennessee, Wisconsin is adding a second wide receiver to the class. It’s a good get, considering they flipped an in-state commit from a top-15 program this year.

Wisconsin has been actively trying to bolster its 2026 class ahead of Wednesday’s National Signing Day and another receiver to complement four-star commit Zion Legree was imperative.

The Badgers have seen quite a few turns with the wide receivers in its 2026 class. They intitially were targeting three commits and had that with Tayshon Bardo committed to the class in addition to Petit and Legree.

Then, looking to go in another direction, the Badgers mutually parted with Bardo and hoped to add another player, which didn’t work.

Then came the big blow of Petit last week, which felt like an inevitable move. Now, Wisconsin has added a second receiver, getting their 14th commit in the class.
