New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was dealing early in the team's game against the New York Giants on Monday night. He was able to connect with rookie wide receiver Kyle Williams on a deep ball to extend the lead to 24-7 following the extra point.
The Patriots initially had strong field position, thanks in part to a botched field goal attempt from the Giants. Maye stood back in the pocket and delivered a dime to Williams in the corner of the end zone for the score.

It seemed like everything was going right for the Patriots on Monday night.
This is one of many plays this season that fuel the Drake Maye MVP argument. The second-year quarterback has arguably been the best in the league at throwing the deep ball.
Kayshon Boutte has been Maye's favorite downfield target all season, but things could get interesting if the team continues to find ways to get Williams in the mix.
