The momentum keeps building for Brent Brennan and the Arizona Wildcats. After securing a 4-star offensive lineman flip on Sunday, the crew received more good news on Monday night.
Trey Smith, an in-state 3-star wide receiver in the 2027 class, announced his commitment to Arizona on X.
Smith is a nice addition to the 2027 class. He is a player that the staff has been on consistently and often. He has visited Tucson more times than one can count and has been to just about every game this season. Smith plays for Gilbert-Williams Field and is also a teammate of soon-to-be Arizona Wildcat 4-star offensive lineman Malachi Joyner. The 6-foot, 163 pound receiver possesses great speed, notching a 10.61 second 100m and a sub-4.4 40-yd dash. Make no mistake, this is a decision that could have positive ripple effects for the Wildcats’ in-state recruiting for 2027.
