West Ham United are unlikely to discipline Lucas Paqueta in response to his red card for dissent against Liverpool on Sunday.
Paqueta received a yellow for protesting Niclas Fullkrug’s foul on Dominik Szoboszlai in the 83rd minute when the Reds were leading 1-0.

With a man down, West Ham conceded another goal in stoppage-time as Liverpool sealed a comfortable 2-0 win at the London Stadium.
Paqueta’s behaviour has not gone down well with several figures at the London club, but there is little indication they will discipline the player.
The Hammers instead plan to offer the midfielder access to psychological support, per The Guardian.
The Brazil international was the subject of an FA probe into alleged betting breaches.
The charges could have led to a lifetime ban, but he was cleared by an independent commission in July.

He posted on social media after his red card against Liverpool: “It’s ridiculous to have your life and career affected for two years without any psychological support from the federation. Perhaps this ridiculous behaviour is just a reflection of everything I’ve had to endure and, it seems, have to continue enduring! I’m sorry if I’m not perfect.”
Paqueta will be suspended when West Ham take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday.
The 28-year-old has been an important player for the Irons this season, featuring in 12 Premier League games and scoring three goals.
