Rodrygo Goes is undergoing a very difficult period at Real Madrid this year and there have been no signs of things turning around for him.

Following the 1-1 draw against Girona over the weekend, Rodrygo has now gone a whopping 30 official matches without scoring a goal – the joint-worst drought for a Real Madrid player in history, tied with Mariano Diaz.

Real Madrid not ruling out sale

Given that Rodrygo has failed to force his way back into Xabi Alonso’s plans and his form has hardly seen any improvement, Real Madrid will consider offers for the misfiring forward, reports Mario Cortegana of The Athletic.

Indeed, the 24-year-old Brazilian international lost the ‘untransferable’ status he had enjoyed in the past during the summer itself.

However, the forward’s desire to stay put at the Santiago Bernabeu meant that any move was ruled out despite strong interest from the Premier League.

Heading into 2026, be it in January or the summer, Real Madrid will be open to offers for Rodrygo, who himself could consider a summer departure in the winter, especially with his spot in the Brazil squad for the FIFA World Cup under threat.

So far this season, Rodrygo has played in 15 games across all competitions but has not scored a single goal, while he has three assists.

Of his 15 appearances, only four have been starts, while has accumulated only 434 minutes in total, giving an indication of where he stands in Xabi Alonso’s plans.

So, if an acceptable offer comes along, Real Madrid will not stand in the way of Rodrygo’s exit in 2026.
