The Minnesota Vikings do not have much to be excited about in 2025, but they do have some rising stars who will attract the attention of other teams in free agency. One of those key players has already been noticed by PFF in their latest free agency rankings piece.
The staff at PFF made the list of the top 70 free agents, and only one Vikings player made the cut.

This year, through PFF, he has a grade of 74.9, but he also has 29 pressures, four sacks, and 23 QB hurries. He has really seen his star rise as a pass rusher in 2025 and within Brian Flores' defense.
They write, "One of the breakout players of the 2025 season, Redmond is earning himself a sizeable future payday with his current play. This season, he has generated 28 total pressures, ranking 19th among interior defenders."
Redmond was not the one they expected to be the star of the defensive line. Alongside former top pick Jonathan Allen and Super Bowl champion Javon Hargrave, he has emerged as the most reliable option they have on the defensive front that isn't an edge rusher.
