After topping the Billboard Classical Album Chart and a handful of viral performance clips, Lorien Testard’s celebrated soundtrack for Clair Obscur: Expediton 33 was turned into a two-hour orchestral tour. After a brief four-date run through France earlier this year, the organisers of ‘A Painted Symphony’ confirmed it would be visiting 15 cities across Europe early next year including one gig at London’s Eventim Apollo.

Tickets for the shows went on sale this morning (December 2) and most venues sold out in a matter of minutes.

“I’m devastated. A friend and I both tried [but[ it was completely sold out by 10:03,” one fan wrote on Reddit with many others having the exact same experience. “It’s honestly unreal?! I missed out too, and I’m so unbelievably heartbroken,” added another. “It feels like they’ve massively underestimated demand. Hopefully they will put on additional dates,” said a third fan.

A handful of tickets are already on resale sites for upwards of £1000, even though face value was around £33.

After confirming the European leg of ‘A Painted Symphony’, organisers teased that more international dates were due to be announced in the near future. “Don’t forget we will have more to announce in 2026,” they wrote on social media today. “We’re looking forward to making our way to as many of you as we can – stay tuned for more info!!” Fans can also join the waitlist for sold out gigs here.
