By Andrew RavensShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberLiv Morgan was reportedly prevented from taking a role in the "Queen of the Ring" film, a biographical project centered on wrestling legend Mildred Burke. According to a report from Fightful, both Morgan and Charlotte Flair were offered spots in the movie but were ultimately blocked by WWE from participating.
While Flair’s removal from the project was previously known—leading to her replacement by Kamille—sources have confirmed that Morgan faced a similar restriction and was kept from accepting the offer.
The report did not specify exactly why WWE prevented Morgan from joining the cast. Although scheduling conflicts are frequently cited in these situations, no specific reason was provided for the decision to block her involvement. The film has since been released featuring other wrestling personalities, but Morgan’s potential contribution was left on the cutting room floor due to the company's decision.

Despite missing out on the biopic, Morgan remains active in both Hollywood and WWE. She recently returned to WWE television at "Survivor Series" after taking time away to film her role in the upcoming movie "Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo". In addition to her return to the ring, Morgan was busy promoting the company's biggest event of the year, having filmed a "WrestleMania" commercial in New York City just a week before her "Survivor Series" appearance.
...Morgan is now represented by the Paradigm Talent Agency, a move intended to help her secure more opportunities in the entertainment industry. Her role in "Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo," which she finished filming in May, marks a significant step forward in her acting career.
Directed by legendary Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike, the film features a star-studded cast including Shun Oguri and Lily James. Morgan plays a politician's daughter who goes missing, a plot point that drives the investigation. The project is described as a "major dramatic role," differentiating it from the cameo appearances often made by wrestlers.
Following her return at "Survivor Series," Morgan is reintegrating into the active roster as WWE heads toward the end of the year. The company is currently building toward the return of "Saturday Night's Main Event," which is scheduled to take place on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. This massive event will serve as a key stepping stone as the promotion prepares to launch the "Road to WrestleMania" in early 2026.
