Tim Jenkins breaks down 'huge win' for Bo Nix, Broncos

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix had himself a big day against the Washington Commanders, although it did come to overtime for the Broncos to win on Sunday Night Football. Tim Jenkins, a former NFL quarterback and host of YouTube's All Things QB, broke down Nix's night on Monday.

Nix had a few great throws early on, but his best throw of the night may have come on a touchdown pass to wide receiver Courtland Sutton. "This [throw], I mean, as good as it gets from a physical, arm talent throw you will see in the National Football League," said Jenkins. "We just get the privilege of watching one of the best throws we're going to see this week. This is just flat out awesome."

Jenkins then highlighted a play from wide receiver Troy Franklin on Denver's third-quarter touchdown drive, on a Nix throw to Pat Bryant to get the Broncos inside the Washington 5. "I'm going to highlight one thing at the end of the play that is a tremendous indicator of how bought in this Broncos team is as a whole that I think you guys are really going to enjoy," Jenkins said.

At the beginning of the play, Franklin 'picks' Bryant's defender without drawing a flag, and Nix puts a ball right on the money to Bryant where he can get yards after the catch. "Now, what I want you guys to watch is -- you guys know receivers in the National Football League; their reputation is, 'Man, we want the ball, it's about us.' I want you guys to watch this right there. You see that? The [Franklin] fist pump, the celebration because, 'I sprung my guy open on a critical third and medium situation.' That is a selfless team. That's a selfless wide receiver room. That is going to pay huge dividends in the long run when you have guys like that who are excited for each other, who are willing to do the dirty work for each other to get each other open, that is not normal in any form or fashion for a receiver room to react that way. And I flat out can't tell you how much that excites me for the long term of this Broncos offense."
