Regé-Jean Page is poised to return to Netflix in a new series following his exit from Bridgerton. Page played Simon Basset on season 1 of the hit Netflix romance drama, which ended up becoming a massive hit for the streamer.

Now, per Variety, Page is set to return to the world of Netflix television in a new erotic thriller series called Hancock Park, which is currently in development. The logline for the series teases that Page plays "a dangerously charismatic outsider who invades the lives of a seemingly picture-perfect Los Angeles family — when he rents their backyard guest house. But as he dives further into their world, the façade of this elite community begins to crumble, and he exposes the desire, deceit, and obsession that lurks around every corner of one of LA’s most-coveted neighborhoods.”

In addition to starring, Page will also executive produce Hancock Park through his A Mighty Stranger production company alongside Emily Brown. Matthew Berry, who previously worked on The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, will write the show. Also executive producing is Drew Comins of Creative Engine Entertainment, with Fifth Season producing as well.

There's no word yet on who else will star in Hancock Park or when the show may arrive. As a project that is still in development, an official green light for production hasn't yet arrived.

Though, for many, Page remains most associated with his Bridgerton character, the star is seemingly not poised to return to the hit Julia Quinn adaptation anytime soon. With Bridgerton season 4 now on the horizon, the love story between Simon and Phoebe Dynevor's Daphne remains contained to season 1, with subsequent seasons focusing on new characters.

Though Page's time in the Netflix Regency-era romance series is over, the star has gone on to appear in a number of high-profile projects. Page continued his working relationship with Netflix with his appearance in the Ryan Gosling-starring The Gray Man (2022), and he also appeared in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) and Black Bag (2025).

It's worth noting, however, that most of Page's post-Bridgerton projects have featured him in supporting roles. Hancock Park will seemingly be putting Page front and center once more. The fact that this new project is a series and that it features "erotic" elements could make it appealing to the Bridgerton audience.

Many questions remain about Hancock Park, but the project evidently has the potential to be a hit for Netflix and for Page. Though there isn't a firm timeline for the series just yet, more news on its development may not be far off.
