Less than 24 hours before the early signing day period opens, Michigan football made another addition to its class of 2026.
Adrian Hamilton, a three-star interior offensive lineman from St. John’s College High School (Washington), flipped his commitment from Virginia Tech to U-M on Tuesday, Dec. 2, he announced on social media.

Hamilton had been committed to the Hokies since July. But with Virginia Tech firing coach Brent Pry in September and hiring James Franklin last month, Hamilton reopened his recruitment. That gave U-M a path to come in and nab him.
Standing 6 feet 2½ and 290 pounds, Hamilton is the No. 3 player in the nation's capital, the No. 55 interior offensive lineman nationally and No. 656 overall in the class, according to 247 Sports' composite rankings.
He will join St. John's teammate Tariq Boney in coming to Ann Arbor and is the fifth OL recruit in the class (and second interior OL), along with four-star commit Malakai Lee, four-star Marky Walbridge, three-star Tommy Fraumann and three-star Bear McWhorter.
