Bossier City (La.) Airline four-star wide receiver Kenny Darby has decommitted from LSU ahead of National Signing Day, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.
Pledged to the in-state Tigers since Nov. 12, 2024, Darby is not transitioning into the Lane Kiffin era in Baton Rouge and is now looking for a new home on short notice.

One of the longest-tenured commit in LSU’s 2026 class, Darby now becomes one of the top uncommitted recruits in the nation. There will be plenty of fluctuation throughout the Tigers’ pledge list as Kiffin ushers in a new era.
“I’m excited to see what’s going to happen,” Darby told Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman over the weekend as Kiffin was hired. “Obviously, Coach Kiffin is a great coach, so I know we will be in great hands!”
