UNLV quarterback Anthony Colandrea has earned Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year after leading the conference in passing yards. Colandrea threw for over 3000 yards and over 500 rushing yards and is also one of just four players in the FBS to have accomplished such a feat. He is also the only player in the country to have thrown at least one touchdown pass and have at least 15 yards on the ground in every game.

UNLV also has multiple players on the All-Mountain West teams. Colandrea was the quarterback on the First Team All-Mountain West, and alongside him was running back Jai’Den Thomas. Thomas leads the country in yards per carry with 7.43 and is the only player in the nation with at least four 100-yard rushing games coming on fewer than 15 carries. Thomas finished the regular season with 944 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.

On the second team, UNLV had wide receiver Jaden Bradley, center Reid Williams, linebacker Marsel McDuffie, and defensive back Aamaris Brown. Bradley has 51 catches for 834 receiving yards and five touchdowns, and he also had a passing touchdown on the season. Williams only allowed one sack and didn’t draw a single penalty. McDuffie led UNLV in tackles with 94, two sacks, and two interceptions. Brown set a UNLV record by grabbing an interception in four consecutive games and scored two of them for a touchdown.

Others named to the honorable mention list include defensive lineman Tunmise Adeleye, offensive tackle Austin Boyd, defensive back Jaheem Joseph, wide receiver DaeDae Reynolds, and defensive back Laterrance Welch.
