The SEC finally has all of its head coaching positions filled after Will Stein accepted the open job at Kentucky.
One of the more prestigious Power 4 jobs still has an opening on Tuesday. Penn State is reportedly trying to convince BYU head coach Kalani Sitake to leave for State College.

Sitake is preparing the No. 11 Cougars to play No. 5 Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship on Saturday with a spot in the College Football Playoff on the line.
BYU is trying to counter PSU's offers on Tuesday. Amid Sitake's uncertainty at BYU, Texas Tech made sure to lock down head coach Joey McGuire before 2026.
Per Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports, TTU and McGuire agreed to a seven-year contract extension on Tuesday.
Via Yahoo Sports:
"Texas Tech HC Joey McGuire has agreed to a 7-year contract with the Red Raiders that runs through the 2032 season, per Ross Dellenger. McGuire’s annual salary rises to over $7 million by the end of the deal, with several incentive bonuses that could push it much higher."

McGuire, 54, is 34-17 overall and 24-12 in Big 12 play during his four seasons with the Red Raiders.
In November, rumors appeared that McGuire could be a candidate for an open SEC position amid TTU's success.
Texas Tech Chairman of the Board of Regents and booster Cody Campbell dispelled the rumor.
"Sorry, bub. Good luck with your coaching search, but Joey McGuire isn’t going anywhere," Campbell posted on X.
Campbell made good on his word.
Before Texas Tech defeated BYU 29-7 during their first meeting on Nov. 8 in Lubbock, McGuire said he planned to stay in Lubbock for the remainder of his coaching career.
"Man, I'm a Texan. I ain't never lived anywhere else," McGuire said. "I was born in Texas, and I'll die in Texas, and hopefully not anytime soon. But I'm gonna die a Red Raider. I'll be here for the rest of my life."
Texas Tech is 11-1 before playing the Cougars in the Big 12 championship. With a win, the Red Raiders could earn a first-round bye in the CFP.
