Hannover reignites interest in Bilal Atiya… Al-Ahly’s stance unveiled!

German club Hannover 96 has renewed its interest in Egyptian prodigy Bilal Atiya, Al-Ahly player and U17 international, by sending a fresh official request to have him join for a trial period during the upcoming winter transfer window.

A high-ranking source within Al-Ahly confirmed to Egyptian outlet "YallaKora" that the club recently received a letter from Hannover requesting the player’s presence in January, after a trial originally planned for December couldn’t be organized due to lack of time to complete travel formalities.

According to the same source, Al-Ahly is open to considering the request, provided a clear framework is established from the outset regarding what follows the trial, in order to safeguard the player’s future while also protecting the club’s interests.

Meanwhile, German newspaper "Bild" has revealed that Bilal Atiya is now among the young talents closely monitored by several German clubs, especially after his standout performances with Egypt’s U17 squad at the recent U17 World Cup in Qatar.

Bild also notes that Stuttgart remains interested in the player, having hosted him for a trial last summer.

Regarded as one of the brightest hopes in Egyptian football, Bilal Atiya played a pivotal role in the U17 team’s triumph at the UNAF tournament, as well as in their qualification for the upcoming AFCON.
