FC Barcelona: The verdict is in for Dani Olmo, length of absence revealed

Dani Olmo already knows his fate after sustaining an injury last night during the clash between FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid.

The scorer of the 2-1 goal against Atlético de Madrid in Barça’s 3-1 victory on Tuesday evening, Dani Olmo was injured as he found the net and had to leave the pitch. The Catalan press later reported that he suffered a dislocated shoulder. On Wednesday, Barça issued an official statement on the matter.

"The first team player, Dani Olmo, suffered a dislocation of the left shoulder during Tuesday’s match against Atlético Madrid. After examinations, it was decided to follow a conservative course of treatment. The recovery time is approximately one month," stated the Catalan club, leaders of La Liga. That means we won’t see Olmo again in 2025.
