What should the Phillies do if Schwarber leaves?

Erwin Schrödinger once presented a thought experiment about a cat and a box. The cat, you see, is both alive and dead until the box is opened, and its true fate is revealed. A free agent is sort of like that: he is both signed and unsigned until the box is opened. We hope that when the box is opened, Kyle Schwarber will be revealed to be signed with the Phillies. The general consensus seems to be that he is likely to stay.. But we must prepare for the possibility that he does not.

Should he leave, we will wish him well, and shed a few (or more than a few) tears, and make a note to ensure that he is on our holiday card list forever. But what should the team do? How can his production be replaced (I’m not going to link to the Moneyball scene, you’ve already seen it)? How should the lineup be shuffled? How would the team’s strategy evolve?

It’s not a happy thought, but it is today’s question: What should the Phillies do if Schwarber leaves?
