By Andrew RavensShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberFormer World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has provided a positive update on his recovery from a severe shoulder injury, revealing that he has shed his arm brace and is progressing as planned. Speaking on "The Rich Eisen Show," Rollins confirmed that his rehabilitation is moving in the right direction following the surgery that forced him to vacate his title in October.
"We're on track. I got the brace off like last week, middle of last week. It's nice to walk around like a regular person," Rollins said.

The update comes amidst a wave of fan speculation regarding the legitimacy of his absence, fueled in part by the events of "Survivor Series" last weekend. During the Men's WarGames match, a hooded figure utilized Rollins' signature Stomp maneuver to help the heel team win, leading many to incorrectly guess that "The Visionary" had returned.
...While that figure was widely reported to be Austin Theory, the incident created doubt among fans about whether Rollins was truly on the shelf. Rollins addressed this doubt directly during the interview.
"I know there's a lot of skepticism in your question, but you can consult my surgeon. I'm feeling alright, it's nice to be able to get around without the brace, I'll say that, but we're on track," Rollins said.
Rollins has been out of action since "Crown Jewel" in October, where he suffered the injury during a match against Cody Rhodes. Following the bout, he was brutally betrayed by his own faction, "The Vision"—comprising Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed—who attacked him on "Raw" and exacerbated the damage. The attack wrote him off television and cemented the new direction for the group, which was victorious inside WarGames at "Survivor Series".
While Rollins is out of the brace, his return to the ring is not imminent. Reports have suggested a timeline of 8 to 12 weeks of training once he is cleared, positioning him for a potential return during the "Road to WrestleMania" in early 2026.
In the meantime, WWE is barreling toward its final major event of 2025, "Saturday Night's Main Event," which will take place on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The card will feature John Cena's final match of the year against the winner of the "Last Time is Now" tournament.
