Leslie Jones joins her fellow Saturday Night Live alum Tim Meadows on a special holiday episode of the CBS series DMV! Jones joins the series as Director’s Assistant, Sally, and today Collider is thrilled to bring you another early look at the episode with an exclusive sneak peek! Written by Matt Kuhn and directed by Katie Locke O’Brien, the holiday party-inspired episode is premiering at a special time on December 8! You can catch your favorite characters on DMV at 8:00 PM ET on CBS!

We're excited to share an exclusive clip from the episode, which features Sally (Jones) meeting Gregg (Meadows) and talking to him. She's trying to raise money, and Gregg lies, saying he already donated. Sally calls him out and then proceeds to try to help him find a DMV employee named Kevin. The problem? Kevin doesn't actually exist. Kevin is an automated system that Gregg was talking to and texting, which he thought was a real person. Luckily, assistant Sally is the one to break it to him, with her rolodex of employee names and records that she has in her mind!

The episode "The Next Window" is described as follows: "At the Big Sac holiday party, Colette tries to impress Noa before his single 'window' closes. Meanwhile, Barb’s effort to save the East Hollywood DMV backfires when she accidentally tackles the director, but assistant Sally (Leslie Jones) steps in to help." If anyone was going to try to help you look for someone who works for the DMV, wouldn't you want it to be Jones? But seeing the two comedy legends square off is part of the fun of a series like DMV, especially with their shared SNL history!

Two 'SNL' Legends Join Together

Seeing Jones and Meadows on screen together reminds fans of the talent that rolls through Studio 8H on Saturday Night Live. Meadows and Jones have 14 years between their tenure on the series, with Meadows leaving the series back in 2000 and Jones joining in 2014. But like many other Saturday Night Live greats, seeing the two join forces after the fact for a show like DMV is part of the joy of SNL and its brilliant cast. Think of the amount of SNL alums who rolled through 30 Rock and Parks and Recreation!

You can see Jones and Meadows square off in the midseason finale episode of DMV when it airs on CBS on December 8 at 8 PM ET.
