COLUMBIA — South Carolina football finished with its worst record under coach Shane Beamer in 2025.
The Gamecocks went 4-8 and 1-7 in SEC play, the fewest wins in a season for Beamer, whose previous worst was the 5-7 year in 2023.

South Carolina football players are entering the transfer portal
Nick Sharpe
Sharpe announced on Dec. 3 via social media that he will be entering the portal with one graduate year of eligibility remaining. The offensive lineman played just one season for the Gamecocks after transferring from Wake Forest last offseason.
