Grand Theft Auto 6 is hands-down the most talked about game of the decade, garnering massive hype across the globe. GTA 6 has become a topic of conversation everywhere you look, and in one recent interview, controversial figure Elon Musk offered a hot take on the GTA franchise that resulted in fans absolutely roasting him online.

In an interview with Nikhil Kamath (via YouTube), Elon Musk stated that he won't play GTA 6 because he "doesn't like killing NPCs in video games" and that he stopped playing when "they said the only way to proceed was to shoot at the police."

Redditors have responded in kind, roasting him on Reddit and calling his remarks "cringe" (1), with players like Occidentally20 noting that "the other games we know he's played are Elden Ring, one of the Diablo games and Path of Exile - all of which consist almost entirely of killing everything."

Elon Musk Gets Roasted By GTA 6 Fans

Elon Musk is an extremely controversial figure, and as such you can pretty much guess how players reacted when he stated that he won't play GTA because of the violence towards police NPCs in the various games. Clint_Demon_Hawk replies to Musk sarcastically, saying, "let me pick a game from a popular crime game series, literally named after a felony, I hope it doesn't require me to commit crimes or anything."

Musk has offered comments on Grand Theft Auto in the past, poking fun at Rockstar Games and how it milks GTA content for all it's worth. He also responded to an X post a couple of years ago, stating that he "didn’t like doing crime," resulting in an equally hilarious roast from fans on Musk's own platform.

Musk has offered various controversial remarks on video games in general as well, almost always resulting in fervor and heated backlash from a vast majority of gamers, such as his self-proclaimed and verified status as a top-20 Diablo 4 player worldwide, a feat many argue was accomplished by paying gamers to farm for him or "cheating" by purchasing gear.

Musk Isn't Going To Play The Biggest Game Of All Time

Grand Theft Auto 6 is projected to be the biggest game of all time, estimated to make up to 6 billion dollars in its first year and making its way into nearly every gamer's library at some point. Given the scope and scale of the game, not to mention the level of hype around it that's been building for years, it's safe to say the game will almost certainly be a massive hit.

Musk will not be boarding the hype train for Grand Theft Auto 6, apparently, which fans don't appear to be too upset about. Ultimately, Musk's comments on the game have united players around a common distaste for the billionaire's opinions on the franchise. Elon Musk hasn't been quiet about his feelings on GTA in the past, and there's a high likelihood this isn't going to be the last roasting he'll receive from players.
